¿How to update user content under Sharepoint 2003 without having to shutdown the site

I have joined a company that uses Sharepoint 2003 to show some data online like cubes, dashboards and certain data.

The site is publicly available (anonymous access, no individual accounts), but when it's time to update the site's content, i've been told, the admin needs to disable the anonymous access (the site now prompts for user/pwd) and restarts the webserver -- all these in order to be able to log-in as admin and update the content. After the site is updated, the admin switchs again to anonymous access and the webserver is restarted.

Is this the way to do it? The admin hasn't found a way to log-in as an admin (and be able to update content) without having to restart the web server - the idea is not to interrupt the service while updating our contents.
The admin says the sharepoint site won't allow him to log-in as an admin (using a web browser) when the site is set to allow anonymous access.

Any ideas?

I am a network admin and I have 2 users who need to work on the same Excel 2003 file at the same time and make various changes to it. Right now, if one person has it open and the other tries to open it, it will open a read only copy that the other user is not allowed to change.

I was looking at sharepoint server and was inquiring as to if it was capable of letting them both work on it at the same time and not losing eithers data when they save it.

How do you change the domain on Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003

I've got SBS2003 running on a server. When we set it up we used a xxxx.local domain and that's not what I want anymore. I want to run it as a normal domain (a different one than is used right now) and I'm not sure how to change it other than starting over with a new reinstall which I think is a bad idea. So, can I make some changes to point the server to a new domain name that will change Exchange, Sharepoint, etc.? I'm trying to make it so that I can have a Sharepoint website be external (http://www.xxxx.com/sharepoint or something) and also change the domain that Exchange references. I used to have a business and that's the domain that's being used but now I want to change it to something else. Any help is appreciated.

I have an intranet that uses MS Sharepoint Services 2003. This has a lot of information that I would like to be made viewable to my mobile users. I have authentication set up so that isnt an issue, I was wondering if I need to make a new view for them, or add a few lines of code in the exhisting page or what. What would be the easiest way?

We are all using Blackberry 8830 series.

I know a lot about web design, except this WAP and mobile stuff is new to me.
